Nicely decorated and tidy hotel, everything is in perfect condition, appropriate size of the room and bathroom, comfortable bed only with pillows and duvets as it is most appropriate (no annoying additional covers or decorative pillows). Very quiet room facing inner courtyard for perfectly peaceful rest, the only sound coming from birds. All staff members are very polite and professional, check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. Hafenstadt is a very peaceful neighbourhood, with hardly any people on the streets. Hotel is situated in the proximity of the UNESCO heritage sites Speicherstadt and Kontorhausviertel.

The room was spacious with a comfy armchair as well as the usual desk chair. The shower was large and the hot water was always plentiful. The staff on the main desk were very helpful and always willing to switch to English when my German wasn't up to it!

The tables were immediately cleaned when someone finished the breakfast. The personel is very friendly.
